Hey guys been trying to run the bot on Debian 12 32bit. and the setup seems fine and the web gui works fine but the bot wont start and the updates don't seem to apply so it always asks to restart the bot to update.
Ive tried using chmod 777 on the folder which didn't do anything and even tried running as root with no luck .
the console is just this when starting the bot:
Code: Select all
Extracting...

New client libraries files found! Updating now ...
New client libraries files version: 3.5.6
Selected download mirror: ts3musicbot.de
[Progress] 100%
Extracting...

New webbrowser version found! Updating now ...
New webbrowser version: 1.0.7
Selected download mirror: gamed.de
[Progress] 99%
Extracting...

Cleaning up temp files...
------------------ UPDATE MANAGER FINISHED -----------------

Starting player..
Creating initial temp files...

Console input started (use 'help' for a list of commands):
===== A newer version of TS3MusicBot is available! Please update over the web interface or use !update or !restart in chat. =====
Logs don't really say anything either just that the bot has started. I'm not sure what could be wrong because i checked in the files and found the team-speak client there in the system/client folder.
I hope this can be solved and thanks in advance

Does it always want to update „client library files“ and „webbrowser“?
If so, it’s sounds like the process can‘t write to your /tmp

Webbrowser and client library files will get downloaded and extracted to /tmp
So check if it’s writable for the process/executing user and if your /tmp is a tmpfs.

This is what my temp folder looks like, seems the team speak client and web gui are in there.
I've ran chmod 777 for the tmp folder just to make sure i have full access.
heres what the console looks like when updating:

Can you also check what’s inside those two folders?
There has to be a version_x.x.x file which the bot checks. If this file with the needed version can‘t be found in there (or the access is not there) the bot shows update available.
