I installed the bot following the instructions on the website.

My TS3 server is on the same machine as the Music Bot. On the Private License page I entered my external IP. I started the server with the -noquery flag.

All my settings are default except the password. My server has a password and I entered it into the "Teamspeak Server Password" text box in the Teamspeak Server Settings.

But the bot never connects to the TS3 server.

Do I need to set a query password?


(Also I get a red box error on the webinterface that says"Player instance crash detected. Restarted. Restarting last playback:").

I think your kernel does make some issueres here:

Can you create a 64bit based system? With a default debian or ubuntu based kernel?

If it is a dedicated server a small debian virtual server should also do the trick.

My server is 32bit. Is there not a 32bit version of TS3MusicBot?

Normally it runs on a x86 system, but you have no default kernel running which I think is the problem.
You can try to install a default ubuntu kernel, this should help too.

I will do some tests with the '4.4.0-72' (eloo) kernel, you can also try to downgrade to a 3.X kernel version.

So I can't install on a i686 system and needs an x86?

Do I need to update to kernel version 4.8?

I thought that i686 was a x86 build. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P6_(microarchitecture)
