I rented a server from a website so I do not host it myself. Whenever I try to connect to the IP it says that I need to check the details.

Where do I find the login/password that they ask? Is it the serverquery login on Teamspeak?

You need a linux "vps" oder "dedicated" server.
There you get a ssh login (a root user login) with a password.
This information is required for the webinstaller.

The webinstaller connects to your rented linux machine and will install the TS3MusicBot for you.

A "teamspeak server" and a "linux server" is something different. Please don't mix this up.
