Hi,

i have rent a TS3MusicBot server from VeryGames, and i'm trying to use it on my TS3 server hosted by another provider.

I've updated all the settings in the general tab of the verygames admin panel, but when i enter the TS3MusicBot Webinterface i receive this error:

Critical: Unable to connect to Teamspeak 3 server at 216.127.64.87!
Exception connectTS3Query(): java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out

I have the same issue even with the Query Mode disabled and the slow mode set to ON with a 'Check Interval' of 5 seconds.

My TS3 server provider don't let me add the bot IP to the Whitelist, so is there a way to connect correctly the bot to my server ?

Critical: Unable to connect to Teamspeak 3 server at 216.127.64.87!
Exception connectTS3Query(): java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out
This error means your TS3MusicBot is not even connecting sucessfully to your teamspeak server.
If you have some whitelisting issues, this would be an other error message.
Connection timeout means, there is no answer from the target.
In your case it is probably the wrong query port, also make sure the ip is correct.

Thanks for the reply. :)

In the verygames admin panel and in the ts3musicbot webinterface i've double checked the IP, Port and server password, and everything is correct; they are the same that i've in my ts3client bookmark.
I have the issue also with query mode deactivated.
I'm using light-speed.com as ts3 server provider.

In the error message the bot looks not being banned:
TS3 client could not connect after 3 tries. Retry in 60 seconds. [1.] Check if 216.127.64.87:4692 is online.! [2.] The TS3MusicBot has not got banned by someone.

VeryGames support told me that without whitelisting the bot is impossible to connect to a ts3 server, and this is strange, because many providers like tserverhq don't let customers using the whitelist at all.

I did not mean the normal port, I mean check the query port.
Many hosters change them. The default one is 10011.

means here is completely no answer from the target.

It is not banned right now, because there is even no answer from the target teamspeak.
Google or ask for the query port of your teamspeak provider and save the correct query port in the settings -> teamspeak server settings.
Also make sure to use the slow mode under advanced settings -> other.

Ok, so my query port is default 10011 in my ts3 admin panel, and is correctly typed in the verygames admin panel and in the ts3musicbot webinterface.

I have also generated a server query login and password on the ts3client - tools - serverquery login and i've inserted them in the admin panel.
I have Slow mode: 1 and Check interval: 5

Still not able to connect to the server.

Ok, after one hour on the ts support, i've solved the problem: it was related to an unknown connection issue of VeryGames, and we were not able to make the bot connecting even after a complete reinstall of the service.

I've solved the issue by cancelling the subscription to verygames and switching to MusicBot4You, and now my bot works perfectly.

And no thanks at all to the awful service and useless support of verygames ( their only answer to my ticket was that without whitelisting is impossible to run the bot on my server ).
