Connect to localhost?

I have problems to connect via external ip / url on my server. I can access the configuration interface when using the ip, and the TS-Server is up and running, I reduced security lvl to 8, but still can't connect.
I know it would work if I could connect to localhost, but you prevent me from entering 127.0.0.1 or localhost in the server-ip-form - i guess because you could use the 3 bots on different servers in this case? I don't know.
Is there any way for me to get this working? I'm kinda frustrated right now...

Why you can't use your public teamspeak ip?
You know that your router/datacenter/home network is routing it back directly to your network interface card if the target ip is the same mashine.
There is no reason to enter localhost. You can try to save your LAN IP.

I'm not able to connect to myself using the ip or URL...
I guess it's because the server setup is kinda unusual, there is a physical machine running ubuntu with two seperate chroot environments, which each emulate another own ubuntu instance. Port routing is managed via a central apache on the "host" system, this could be the factor which prevents the connection.
EDIT:
I just tried to use the query mode, interestingly the query connection is working...

In case anyone is interested, manually importing the locals did the trick for me.
Jsut add this line befor the java-call in your TS3MusicBot_runscript.sh:
I got this tip in the support TS - great work!
